Organisations failures

Organizations fail, and they often fail because of a failure of their leadership.
But why is it that leaders fail?
According to best selling author Mark Sanborn, there are six warning signs that indicate that a leader might fail:
1. Often leaders lose sight of what's important
2. Sometimes they are unclear about their purpose and then are unable to communicate it to their staff
3. They may be driven by a fear of failure, rather than the desire to succeed
4. They may lack integrity or find areas of conflict between what they believe and how they behave
5. Often they don't manage themselves well and fail to take care of their physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs
6. They may lose sight of their dream – what it was that motivated them in the first place
You can avoid falling into these traps by attending Great Leaders: A Business Approach to Leadership. This is a leadership course that builds on Dr Stephen R Covey's vision (the author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) and that of other renowned leadership experts, to offer you a blueprint for developing your leadership approach and leadership skills.
